Couple of bad weeks and now only €7 in the pot. Betting half of it on two doubles.
€2 on Drogheda (11/10) & Longford (1/1)
€1.50 on Finn Harps (7/5) & Dundalk (17/10)

Athlone will be without Joe Woods, Ross Kenny and Paul Danaher who are all first choice full backs. Mark Sherlock will also miss out leaving us with only one recognised striker in Noel McGee. Youths will be called into squad to make up numbers.

Athlone last won in Ballybofey during the 1984/85 season

Almost forgot to do any bets, I've now put my curse on Longford -1, a whole euro on that and a massive 25 cent on a draw in the Harps v Athlone game. Try to build the pot back up slowly. Only 1.25 left if neither of those come in.

Nothing last week. My mathematical error above means I actually have €2.25 left in the pot so not as bas as I thought.

I came across this website during the week http://leagueofirelandinsider.com/ and I'm going to follow some of the bets to see if it will bring a change of luck.

€1 on Drogheda win
and €0.25 treble on Drogheda, Pat's -1 and UCD-Shels under 2.5 goals.

Decided to throw a whole massive euro on Drogheda, Crusaders, Longford, Shelbourne all to win. Figured why not. With potential returns of something like 67 euro, I'd be happy enough to be honest!

Toying with a Sligo, Derry Double might stay clear of the rovers' game thou bit hard to judge, will Crus seriously put up much of a fight to Derry if City play like they can?

Fiver on Derry/Sligo gets ye 21 odd.. Tempting..

The funds are almost gone. Didn't get a chance to post here before. I had two 25c trebles and they were both winning as the games went into injury time, then Bohs pulled one back to bust the unders bet and Jason Byrne equalised for Bray

I had - Cork, Sligo, Pat's
And - Twigg any time, Over 2.5 goals in Sligo and under 2.5 in Dalymount.

50c remains from my starting tenner. It'll have to be a remarkable turnaround.

Same as myself, 50c remaining from a fiver I stuck in at the start of the season. Couple of stupid accumulators put me down in money. Decided to stick the last 50c on one more stupid accumulator on mondays matches with Cork, Sligo, Shamrock Rovers and Derry to win.
