    Darren O'Dea is 25. Is that young enough to be in the young player of the year category?

    It is when Trap is the manager.

    Didn't Richard Dunne win young player of the year when he was 24?

    <EDIT>

    JUst check wikipedia and he never won it, but I'm convinced he was nominated in one year

    Robbie might clinch the main award having surpassed the half century mark in terms of his goal-scoring, although I'd like to see Richard Dunne get it myself. He was a colossus during qualification for the Euros; the effort in Russia being a once-in-a-decade type performance.

    I think Dunne deserves the main award.

    S Ireland has also been nominated for the Baby of the Year award.
