Whatever happened to the SDCC proposal to name a stand after Robbie Keane ? Seem to recall some gombeen councilor proposed the idea.
Bizarre proposal, probably some no name councillor wanting to make a name for himself. wouldn't be suprised to see this request pop up again. i'd name it the Roddy Collins stand before that dope

Pointless bit of information for y'all, but I'm bored.

The term "Little Englander" is one of the most incorrectly used phrases in the English, or indeed any other, language.

The term was first used by English people during the expansion of the British Empire who disagreed with British colonisation of other countries, including Ireland. They advocated for a "little England" i.e. a modest, non-nationalist England that didn't invade other countries.

So, contrary to current usage, a "Little Englander" was someone who didn't jingoistically believe in the superiority of their own country.

    As you were.

Theres nothing wrong with supporting a foreign team as long as you support your local team first! I love LOI football but I also love the Premier League (Spurs fan) while I also follow La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga very closely but I've never stayed at home to watch that instead of going to a LOI match.

It's not just the barstoolers fault tho its the media too, I was watching 3England the other night and all you could hear from the commentators was we we us as in Manchester United, thats when I switched over to channel 5

I think we should identify the 2 that voted "EPL only, hate LOI" and chop their bodies up into small pieces. The world will be a better place because of our actions and if we stick together none of us will be going to jail.
