I'd say just idle speculation by the Examiner/Echo as theres no hint of a quote from anyone connected.

Would be amazed if Bohs took him on given their financial state.

I'd say City more interested in him next year than current season...?

I think so too as they had a piece about Dolan talking to Foley not so long ago. All it is is speculation about whether the deal will still go ahead because of the sacking but I thought it was more or less domy myself.

Isn't Foley a tall centre forward? If so, he could be a useful targetman type player?

He turned City down last week. The money Bohs offered him was almost double what City were offering. (More fool Bohs IMO) and he was told he'd have to fight his way into the City side. Bohs were assuring him first team football and more money. He made his choice. Why would or should City jump back in now ? The whole things just paper talk I'd say.
Myabe Roddy will offer him a chance at Dublin City

He's an awkward sack of sh!t anyway. When S. O'Flynn is back motoring we're sorted.
