Little was, if I remember rightly, kind of rated way back when. But it's a long time since he's shown any success.

Chuck Norris is next in line for the Sligo job. He reckons he can win the league and both cups with a pen, 500ml of water and €2 million a year playing budget.

SS, I'm normally a fan of how Sligo play, and the support they bring with them, but I have to say, what's been going on the last while has been a bit, well, disconcerting to say the least. It'd be great if they got Rico, but I'd worry for him if the behind the scenes stuff is as dysfunctional as they appear. Still can't get over that PC piece on the website. Jaysus, makes Putin's quip about the white ribbons looking like condoms appear to be measured and intelligent.

I have to agree, everything Sligo lately has been awfully unprofessional. I'm not surprised they're keeping very quiet over manager talk, maybe they had a bit of a 'wise up' moment.

askmehoop my dear. Are your real initials C an O' and an S? You sound very much like like young teen on Twitter than constantly tweet tweets about Sligo Rovers, even though he's a Shams fan.

Fair enough Nigel, but dont judge us in the the middle of change, judge us after it.
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

    samesies for Bohs.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.

dong,no need to be so defensive, it's not you posting damaging statements on your club website, or engaging in battles in public. If there is some sort of mayhem at the club a manager like Rico will suffer as there will some who could actively work against the appointment - do you understand what I mean? Rico's one of the good guys, he can do alot for a club like Sligo, but not on current evidence.

I don't know what you mean by Roddy, if it's that I was one of the many who voiced an opinion that on his appointment to Mons it could be a rollercoaster, well, it kind of has been. He won promotion over an imploding Limerick side and shocking Galway one, but do you think he's a long term man? He's a good organiser and motivator and underrated as a coach, but I'd alwways wonder when the next blow up will come. If you have a different opinion, by all means elucidate.

Now I've no idea if you said this but I have to presume his Roddy comment was in regards to a lot of people saying Roddy was a shoe in for the job. Thankfully that doesn't seem to be the case.

The Cook statement was a joke. And what made it, and Rovers, a bigger joke was that it was published on the club website. All it did was bring the publics attention to the meeting on Monday night (which I have no problem with - it's great to see so many people concerned about the running of the club)

Spudulika, you bluffed on here that Collins was practically packing his bags to head for Sligo. That's what I was obviously referring to which you well know and I was calling you out on the fact that your statements on here are usually rubbish.
Yo try to pass yourself off as some sort of agent type who operates on a level none of us do and has access to all sorts of information none of the rest of us do but it's mostly tall tales that nobody can verify.
Maybe you are a journalist or think you're a journalist, i don't know and I don't quite understand it.

Na he just skypes these very reputable journalists to get his info.

    Heres exactly what he said:

Can any Sligo fan confirm 100% that what I was just told is untrue, that Sligo are paying a whack of money to Monaghan in compensation? Just off skype with one reputable journo and he said it's a done deal. But it could be a wind up. He did say that Cook was gone 100% before the news broke, but this time.
