I know this is a very negative thing to say after all the glory of the past weeks but our performances in the cup in recent years have been brutal!
The only time we've ever shown any hunger in this competition was the year we won it. I don't think this is acceptable. All our proverbial eggs are now in the one basket as we pin our entire hopes of success this season on the league. A recipie for disaster if I've ever seen one.
Nothing less than victory over Waterford tomorrow will suffice.
