Trophy Manager - online football managment game - I like it - I think I'm getting obsessed with it though.
It is a lot easier now to pick up coefficient as country ranking is not the main thing.
Since 2009 you now get coefficient depending on what round you go out in, even the 1st.
I am delighted with Shamrock Rovers, Pats and Bohs' draw. Not an easy one for Rovers but Bohs & Pats should get through.
Second round will be harder but Pats have a good chance though Bohs could be in trouble.
Sligo getting Trnava isn't great, they finished only 2 points behind Zilina. Will be a tough one but they did very well against Poltava last year.
After last years good results it is vital teams get as much wins/draws as possible to get a good country ranking this year.
Bohs should get through against Þor, if they don't then they are truly beyond redemption.
It was by a freak that Þor got to the cup final where they got hammered. They just play football there as something to do to keep fit for the handball season.
Bin liners and masking tape recommended, if a bit of sleep is required the night before the game.
Freaky stuff with Pats getting IBV again.
IBV had a shaky start to the league campaign but have found their mojo after game 4 and are sitting in mid table. The latest news is they are planning to play the home game at home on the island and not in Reykjavik like last time. They just have a bit of work to do install a small stand.
Unless Pats come here with a 2 goal lead in the bag, they are a goner and (it should go without saying) unless Pats successfully drag IBV down to their level.
Charter flight is recommended![]()
Both games will be available on the club's web site.
Dodge, you can have all the Liam Buckleys you like but you'll never come close to matching the total football coming out Iceland right now. Geysir has spoken at length on the topic.

The beauty of the 0-0 draw shows itself again today. Portadown will be happy after their 0-0 away in Macedonia in their first round Europa League first leg tie whereas Linfield will be disappointed with their 0-0 draw at home to B36 Torshavn from the Faroe Islands in the Champions League game.
Here on a technicality.
lol they couldn't even beat a Faroe Island team at home.

It seems Linfield were pretty dominant from the statistics I've seen; just couldn't make their pressure pay. Peter Thompson missed a first-half penalty and Mark McAllister had a goal disallowed in the second. Tórshavn did strike the post, mind.

i hate to say it but i really do fancy ourselves and Pats to progress.
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
We've seen enough in Europe to know results can go wrong, Belgrade probably thought that after Rovers last season. Still though, all going well, both clubs should be going through. It's the minimum expected of clubs from our league. Round 2 is where it gets tricky and we'll possibly see some attrition.

Find myself in Cork tomorrow afternoon so I don't think I'll get back in time to head to either games.

That's great reading Dodge. But Shels are listed as Icelandic in the IRL v ISL opposition panel.
