To add to this, the teams 4th & 5th in the Slovakian league are only 2 & 3 points behind Zilina. Both these teams are ranked below Rovers.
That team in Bulgaria have done back to back promotions and would therefore only get the national ranking which is 2 point something

you are neglecting 5 draws since 2005 but ya you have done very well in Europe.
There were 9 wins since 1989 but co-efficient looks back 5 years and our most successful spell in Europe was 2004-2008

I neglected nothing. Cork have won 4 ties in ranking European competitions in their history. Pats have won 6 in the last 4 years
If you want to talk about individual legs Cork have won 6 and drawn 5 since they were founded. In the same period Pats have won 7, and drawn 6
So whatever way you dress it, you've no grounds to make any claims about Cork's co-efficient

you are conveniently excluding intertoto cup results of course - you are right to say that they don't count for coefficient but they hardly don't matter at all
He brought up co-efficient, so what else should I talk about?

Overall Pats, Cork, Shels and Rovers have all won 7. Bohs on 6
Not including inter toto; Pats, Shels and Rovers on 6, Dundalk and Bohs on 5, Cork on 4
I wasn't saying Cork had a poor record btw, far from it. Its just not true to say there's is better than Pats. Including inter toto, only 7 times have Irish sides won through 2 rounds in Europe. Pats have done it the last 3 times

impressive record given our short history
Pats last few years have been something special alright
we won through 2 rounds in 04 and 05 I believe
so between us we make up 5 of the 7 times? does Rovers from last year count? Shels when they played Depor would be another
Sorry that was a typo. It's
Dundalk in 79
Cork in 04 and 05
Shels in 04
Derry in 06
Pats in 08, 09 and 11
Rovers in 11
9 times in total.

so only Pats and City have done it more than once, and we were the first team to ever do it more than once is what you are saying!
Yes, I'm saying Pats are the only team to do it twice in real European competitions and have actually done it three times as many as any other team

It is not a direct replacement. For example this year the LOI has 2 teams in the first round, it never had 2 in the intertoto
Likewise some nations didn't enter the intertoto
And if you want to talk progress in 2009, Pats actually made it to the 4th round as they received a bye in round 1
Any other ways you want me to prove you wrong or can you just accept Cork arent the greatest European team of all time?

I'm just pleased Dodge admits we were founded in 1984
Great recognition for the LOI tonight as Pat Sullivans goal for Shams V Partizan Belgrade wins TV moment of the year at the IFTAs (aka the Irish film & TV Oscars)
Fair play, thought the ROI qualifying would have got it, or was that in a different category?
Cumann Peile Dún Dealgan - Champions 2015 (too many accolades to be typing)
Termonbarry Athletic TID!
It was in that category alright, the nominations were
· Barack Obama Addressing Ireland from College Green
· Ireland beat Estonia and qualify for the European Championships
· Ireland v Australia - Rugby World Cup
· Irish teen Damien McGinty Wins The Glee Project
· President Michael D. Higgins’ Inauguration Speech from Dublin Castle
· Queen Elizabeth II Speech at Dublin Castle State Banquet
· Rory McIlroy’s Major Breakthrough
· Rose of Tralee goes Hip Hop
· Shamrock Rovers Europa League Qualifying Goal
· Stephen Fry’s guest appearance on Ros na Rún
The vote was open to the public and may have been the subject of some(alleged) manipulation But look at some of the gay stuff that didn't win
