Villa Park could become the first EPL stadium to re-introduce safe standing areas, in a response to rising ticket prices. The Bundesliga is the prime exponent of terraces, and their grounds have the highest average European attendances, similarly English rugby and GAA stadiums show that high-capacity grounds don't have to be all-seater. The main worries centre around alcohol, but policing, fan culture and stadium design have all improved dramatically since the '80's.

We're not on about egg-chasing or bogball here. They live in their own world and play by their own rules.
Everyone knows why football stadiums are all seater in England. They are for very good reason.

Have went to about 7 games this season so far to see various teams, think I only was seated for about 3 games, if that. Bring in standing room for fans who want it
Which is why there's regular riots at lower league games with terracing. Even games with attendances of several thousand.
