Didn't know Raggett had declared for Ireland. Did some digging, and he played against Ireland U21s for England's C team a few years ago: https://www.fai.ie/ireland/news/irel...loss-in-galway

Realistically, a 26 year old defender playing in league one is not going to get a call up
Crowley was OK, but not outstanding - he looked comfortable on the ball but didn't get much of a chance to influence proceedings as Birmingham were overrun by Pompey and he was subbed on the hour. Harness looked pretty decent while Curtis was outstanding, constantly involved, working tigerishly and getting an assist for a terrific cross for the third goal. Raggett came on late but didn't have a chance to make an impact
Curtis seemed to run out of steam last season but if he can recover his first half form then he could rip it up and get a good January move.

It's a really good squad. Collins, Parrott and McCarthy back. But no Danny
Mick mentioned about eligibility concerns regarding Crowley. I guess he’s also in the Ryan Johansson boat where he played u17s for England before his birth was registered on the foreign births register

Towards the very end
This really needs to be sorted in our favour. At the rate England are capping young players at underage level we could end up losing out on a lot of potential players if the decision goes against us.
What's the issue I wonder? Or is it that it hasn't been finalized and concluded in our favour and it's only a matter of time? Very unclear.
It'd be the same as Ryan Johansson, whether he had Irish nationality at the time he represented England or not.
Talksport crediting crowley with changing the game in Birmingham s favour when he came on today.
A friend of mine was at the Charlton - Birmingham game. Came back with a glowing report of Crowley and Cullen. Hopefully it will all be sorted out sooner rather than later for Dan
Hopefully he should be fine. Like I highly doubt Callum Robinson and Ciaran Clark had Irish passports when they played competitively for England U21s and they were deemed eligible by way of grandparents.
His granny(and grandfather) is from Leitrim that's the connection, from out drumshanbo way.
