    Boyle Celtic 0-3 Sligo Rovers

Boco, Raf and Aaron Greene with the goals. Quigley played well and should have scored. Decent workout for first game back, Boyle played very well.

    It's not really.

Take exit 15 off the M50 signposted Kilternan. Go past Carrickmines Shopping Centre on the right and onto the Glenamuck Road. Wayside Celtic play near the top of the road on the left. They've moved pitch since I was there last, but I think it's up the main driveway before you reach the blind turn.

    I don't know, that's why I asked...

    Is he any good?
Eh, not really. Signed at the start of the season and didn't look too bad in training, but his fitness was shocking, played very little. May have started 2 or 3 games, few sub appearances here and there.

Has represented Ireland at U15, U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels so I presume he knows McCaffrey. Definite talent there but attitude is questionable imo.

Waterford United playing Cork City, Friday 3rd Feb, in a friendly in the RSC.

Aaron Callaghan's Bohemians kick off their preparations for the coming season on Wednesday night.

Two Bohemians XIs will be action on Wednesday - the first game sees a Bohs team take on Leinster Senior League side Bluebell Utd (South Dublin District League, 7.30), while half an hour later, another Gypsies XI face Callaghan's former club Longford Town (Leixlip Community Centre, 8pm).

On Friday, Bohemians travel to play Wexford Youths (Ferrycarrig Park, 7.45) and on Sunday, Bohs will come up against Garda AFC (Westmanstown Sports Centre, 2pm).

    Date Venue KO
Wed February 1 Bluebell Utd v Bohemians XI South Dublin District League 7.30
Wed February 1 Longford Town v Bohemians XI Leixlip Community Centre 8pm
Fri February 3 Wexford Youths v Bohemians Ferrycarrig Park 7.45
Sun February 5 Garda AFC v Bohemians Westmanstown Sports Centre 2pm
I like high energy football. A little bit rock and roll. Many finishes instead of waiting for the perfect one.
