What with the 2012 olympics around the corner, and a lot of people on here being based in London, I was wondering if anyone would know any places (prob pubs, hotels or the like) that would be looking to take on two 19 year old lads (my friend from Donegal and I), over there, over the summer? We're both keen to earn a bit to help pay for second year in college next September!

Spent a few summers in London and got work via the job centres. Ended up doing security work both times. Long hours, boring as feck but easy to get in to at least.
It may help to lie about going back to Ireland at the end of the summer.

I just wandered into them, they're dotted all over the city. There's a list here: http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1386.php You could also chance your arm with a few recruitment companies but to be honest I never found them massively useful. That was over ten years ago now mind you.
