I like most mentioned but I also like "A Bronx Tale" (DeNiro stars), "Carlitos Way" (Pacino, Penn) and "Mean Streets"(DeNiro, Keitel).
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.

Always going to be one.....what can you do? I started this reply with the intention of getting into a slagging match with you but can't be bothered.

    I KNOW
One of the best moments has to be in goodfellas when Joe Pesci shoots Christopher from the sopranos in the foot...pure class. That and the ear slicing in Reservoir Dogs

Does the film 'Veronica Guerin' count as a gangster movie??? I thought it was a very poor movie to be honest, but that's because I had already seen 'When the sky falls' which is the same story but an excellent film.

I suppose you'd have to include all the Martin Cahill films too, 'The General','Ordinary Decent Criminal' etc 'The General' was a decent movie allright.

    Goodfellas
    Godfather II
    The Long Good Friday

All this talk of mafia movies makes me hungry.

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

    My choices would be:
Murder Inc. : It's an old black & white film, introduced the term "hit" into common usage, excellent stuff.
The Public Enemy, Angels with Dirty Faces, White Heat: All Jimmy Cagney classics.

Once upon a time in America.

    Hoffa.

You would have thought though that a film called "Dances with Wolves" would have good choreography as well .

Actually Conor, the original Scareface from the 30's is supposed to be far superior to the remake. Aiming to get a copy of it (the original that is) in the coming months.
