Local paper (Wexford People) today reporting that Wexford Youths Women may be ready to sign Katrina Parrock. Holder of three All-Ireland camogie medals, it would be a major coup if she were to sign for WYW. Katrina has been causing mayhem with her scoring feats in the local Wexford Womens Soccer League for Kilmore in recent times.

After winning the league title, Laura Heffernan has resigned as manager of Wexford Youths Women according to the club's website. Very disappointing to hear that.
Good handful have applied for the vacant WYW manager's position according to rumours.
One of our more prominent players, Jess Gleeson, has removed references to WYW from her Twitter account which may suggest that she's on the move. Put in a great spell here so best of luck to her if she does join another club. Also, local papers (Wexford People) today reporting that Tom Elmes, the famous first home goalscorer for Wexford Youths in 2007, is likely to be the new manager of WYW.
Wexford Youths Women defeated Linfield Ladies 5-4 in a pre-season friendly played in Belfast.

Leanne Tumelty & Rachel Hutchinson have returned to Wexford from Kilkenny. Amy Walsh has also returned to Wexford. Ciamh Dollard has signed from Portlaoise AFC. WYW v Shelbourne on Sunday, 11 March, postponed due to unplyable pitch.

Friendly game with rolling subs this afternoon as Wexford Youths WFC defeated Kilkenny by 5 goals to nil. In addition to four new trialists for Wexford, those spotted from Wexford's panel of last season included Sophie Lenehan, Maeve Williams, Kylie Murphy, Orla Casey, Rianna Jarrett, Doireann Fahey, McKenna Davidson, Aisling Frawley, Aoife Slattery, Lolly Conlon, Becky Cassin, Edel Kennedy, Ciara Rossiter, Ciara Delaney and Blessing Kingsley. Impressed by Kilkenny although they conceded a few goals late on.
Doireann Fahey has signed for Hartford Hawks in the USA. Very gifted player and best of luck to her!

One of WYW subs last week in the 0-0 draw against Shelbourne WFC was Ciara Rossiter, who, unless I'm mistaken, has missed three seasons due to complications arising from an ACL injury. Not many players playing in domestic Irish football can claim that they've played against the World Cup champions, but Ciara is one of them. Fantastic to see her return to the team!
Rianna Jarrett has signed up with the sports agency, Sisu Sports Management. You'd suspect that a move abroad might be in the offing, unfortunately.
