Second goal for Wexford didn't happen until 40 minutes but it was 4-0 at half-time. Second half was more or less about how many Wexford would score and it finished 10-0 at full-time with Clare O'Riordan (4), Carol Breen (3), Kylie Murphy, Shauna Wall and Becky Cassin being the goalscorers. Very bad clash of heads towards the end between Shauna Wall and a Cork defender meant that both sides finished with nine as Edel Kennedy had already been taken off for Wexford as a precautionary measure with all subs. used. Very comfortable win as the scoreline suggests.
