That should make for some interesting tweeting.

According to today's Irish Independent Shamrock Rovers full back Pat Sullivan is taking a break from football to go travelling. Seems bizarre to me, can he not wait till he retires. Also the paper says Sean Gannon is staying on which is contrary to what was on the St. Pats website.
Sligo Rovers are delighted to announce that Iarfhlaith Davoren has signed a new deal with the club. The left-back has been a vital part of Paul Cook's squad since he signed from Galway United in 2010 and has been one of the most consistent performers for Rovers since then. Davoren scored Rovers' only goal from play in last year's FAI Cup Final and his signature now ensures last year's back four, which conceded the least amount of goals in the 2011 Premier Division, stays together for another season.
Iarfhlaith becomes Rovers' 14th signing for 2012 after midfielder Lee Lynch joined yesterday from Drogheda United.

Tidy wee squad we have assembled now.
Paul Corry has tweeted he is close to signing for someone. He says they only have to sort out the compensation now. Strong rumour on our forum that he is coming to Pats but the talk of compensation makes me think otherwise. Sligo seem to be the other rumour.
Here on a technicality.
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), only Irish club to win a game / points in Europa League Group Stage (2016).
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!
Average attendance was 2,100. You do realise that we have lost quite a few players from last season as well that were being paid?
Hopefully we're not killing ourselves with it all but you can never tell for sure in this league what anyone is at (except that Shams are the model obviously)
Imagine re-signing one of your top players! Audacious! Reckless! What a badly run club!
As for rarely over 2,000 -- I take it your talking about home fans?
Delighted Dav is back on board. With Cook off to England next year, no doubt Dav will have better prospects contacts etc than festering with Shams 'squad system'!
Pats look strong, a few dodgy signings like Bolger and I don't rate Pat Flynn, but has the makings f a squad that could do really well.#maybechallange
