as soon as it looks like sligo might win the league.
So you'll just have to be patient. very, very patient.
Shamrock Rovers- Where trophies are won and envy is scarce
PFAI list released:
http://www.pfai.ie/news/282-pfai-transfer-list
Steven O'Flynn of Limerick is on that list. A bit of a surprise to me.
I'm more surprised to see Barry Sheedy and Shane Cusack on it. Two young players who are playing with our under 19s.
O'Flynn is out of contract and was out for pretty much the whole season so he probably feels he'd be crazy not to keep his options open instead of waiting around for an offer from Limerick.
Only Karl Moore of Shamrock Rovers on there. Can't say I blame him the way he was shunted out when Ricketts came in.
Has Paddy Kavanagh found a club then?
Players have to notify the PFAI. Some don't as they're talking to clubs etc
There'll be more Rovers when Europe finishes (Moore isn't in Euro squad)
Most will sign back with their old club IMO

Also a lot of players on the list are more than likely in discussions with their current clubs but keeping their options open.
Gavin Kavanagh has resigned with City so won't be signing for any of the Dublin clubs he was linked with
Why is everyone indicating that Mahon is on the way out? Did he not do a (very) decent job last 2 seasons?
#DundalkFC - First Irish club to win an away game in Europe (1963), first Irish club to win points in a group stage in Europe (2016).
I am only sayin what I heard from a Pats player who himself expects to be in Inchicore next season.
The girlfriend was behind Zayed in the Nutgrove SWO and the woman asked him behind the desk was he signing for rovers and he said not a chance now but he was going to earlier in the season, hoped to stay with Derry as he liked living in Donegal.
Then he accused her of being a racist and fell down the stairs on the way out, claiming he was tripped.
I'm not really surprised with foley and quinn. Probably saw the Mons as a stepping stone. Same as Isichei, Marks, and Keegan. Think their foolish though.
I am surprised with the Monaghan born Whelan but you never know whats really going on.
Edit: Just after seeing Aidan Collins on the list! He can't go![]()

Its pretty normal for players to appear on the list and then re-sign with their old clubs, Whelo was on it last year too IIRC. Foley might be on his way but I really hope not, he's a cracking player. I definitely hope we keep Aidan Collins and Whelan, Ischei too improved during the season and could do a job in the Premier.
Sligo Rovers out:
