Very sorry to see Russell leave. He was one of my favouirite players for the past two seasons and his work rate was second to none and chipped in with a few goals. For whatever reason Cook just did not rate him last year - he went through phases of being on the bench and when he did start was often substituted on the hour mark when most felt he had been doing a reasonable job on the pitch. Rumour with us is that he might have been avoiding contact from Cook for the past few weeks - whether this had something to do with supposedly going to Canada who knows. At any rate a good signing for Pats if true.
From what I've been told he's waiting on the results of some tests/appraisals. He can't get a job in Canada without them (football related)

Karl Sheppard seems to have all but confirmed he's off to Reading.
Ya great signing for pats with John Russell.
One of my favourite players the past few seasons and one of the major factors behind our push for the title when Cook finally switched Kirby with Russell.
But as was stated Cook never really took to him for what ever reason, sometimes he loves a player irrationally and sometimes he seems to dislike a player irrationally.
Sad to see him go and I reckon this will haunt us.
Bohs in talks with - Dave Rogers, Chris Forrster, Keith Ward, Evan McMillan, Derek Pender and Karl Moore. Forester HASN@T signed for Pats yet. Still weighing up his decision.
Forrester and Corry it now seems mightn't be coming to us, Things were going too well I new something had to happen
Here on a technicality.
Adam Clarke and Darren McAuley both linked to Harps.
Clarke looks pretty certain to sign while McAuley's potential signature could be depending on Coleraine.
Why in the name of Christ are Bohs competing with Pats for players?
Lets redefine what it means to heal
He was with Bohs last season and played over 20 times for the first team . He was offered a contract. Since then, Pats have offered him a contract. Forrester is now deciding whether to stick with Bohs and guaranteed first team football, or take up the offer with Pats. It's not exactly competing with Pats now, is it?
yeah same guy.
Good player, would love to see him here but I'd say it's a long shot.
Also, Mark Forker in talks with Longford Im hearing. He's at college in Maynooth in his final year and wont be able to travel up and down for us this year ('til June anyways). Cracking player.

Interesting. We're training in Leixlip so that would make sense for him. We've a good few players from or based around the general Kildare area.
Upwards to the vanguard where the pressure is too high.
