    thats bad news lads....
was a brilliant site. very well run and well designed.

it was a fantastic resource for any city news or information.

would be interested to know its reasons for ending, but understand the costs of sites is ever increasing now due to isp's becoming ******s.

indeed, well done to all involved.

its a real shame that this unofficial Cork City site is closing. It took up the mantle when citynet closed and has done a fantastic job over the last 5 months bringing the latest, news, rumours and news paper reports to city fans all over the world. I for one am very sad that its closing. One of the most positive things about the site is that it forced others to buck up their act and improve their product. Better quality all round.. CorkCityFootie RIP

Well done lads, it was an excellent effort, and must have been the best unofficial site I've seen.

It took an awful lot of work, and it's hard to keep this level of quality going on a voluntary basis.
    Well done again.

While XR didnt do himself any favours at the very start, it was a very good, well informed site.

Hopefully the 2 lads can have another run at it. Perhaps even link with Citynet?

Or is that why it has closed??? Makes sense if thats the case.

    Thumbs up

Best ever City Site. The club should give them a few bob to keep it going. Amazing how much effort they put into the news updates. DONT GO !!

    .............................................

When did this happen ...... ???????

What is the fúckin' story like ????

Lads ...... You hit the ground running (which is strange for a website) .... you do a top notch job of it, updated with clock work timing, great source for news on every aspect of the club. brilliant features and obvious selfless interest putting the site together. And now ...... gone ?????????

There is more to this anyway for a start.

What is the story ...... is it bandwidth ..... is it cost ..... is it time and effort .... what is going on like.

It is like you are pulling the rug out from peoples feet as soon as they just stand on the thing.
