The club should be writing a letter to Monaghan Utd FC, the FAI and the Garda ombudsman including everything you said.

The steward actually went up to that Shams fan and actually said fair play you your dead right :O

    Wow.

    Just WOW.

Really hope the club follow up on this clown, the thought of him in charge of children.

I wonder do the good parents of Monaghan know about his penchant for bullying and foul language??

A member of the Garda Siochana in Gortakeegan last night also cautioned a Galway United supporter for what I believe was cited as abusive and sectarian language.

Ridiculous carry-on, there were no complaints from any spectator to the best of my knowledge. Any chants or language was the standard stuff, anti-Dublin because of where the majority of the Monaghan squad are from.

Seems like an individual on a power trip. With supporters of other clubs this character could cause serious trouble.

For a Gard who is supposed to be a specialist in football crowd control he seems to be the key part in inciting all the incidents I've heard and seen so far.

Something should be done about him.

True an assumption has been made but seens as he seems to be one of the main gards running the show there, add into that the Bohs fans and our fans had similar problems with him and now an unknown gard has had a similar problem with Galway fans it certainly isn't an outrageous assumption that it is the same guard.

If it was the fans fault I would be the first one to say it but in our case it most certainly was not.

Will be very interesting to see what happens when Rovers, Derry and Sligo are battering Mon's next season...Also dealing with some of the Rovers fans might get interesting, they have some "offensive" chants

And you're very quick to assume it wasn't. What's your point? I'd be staggered if it wasn't Oliphant throwing his considerable weight about again.
The ball is round and has many surprises.
