Well if he's in for one game I'd imagine he's in for them all. I have no doubt that Pilkinton's long term fitness will be aided by having a rest this summer, but I reckon it is also a convenient excuse to avoid confrontation with his wife-to-be. I still don't think Trapattoni has fully forgiven Jon Walters for attending the birth of his own child - such trivialities don't factor into his thinking.

Well that was a week later and it's unclear where he'd even have been eligible in the first place. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt for that.

Looks like Trap believes it's just an injury issue. He suggests Pilkington is getting from game to game with injections and should probably just give himself time to recover.

Sounds like he's a permanent injury concern and will not be available for international duty as he will need that time to recover.
