Terry Gleeson

I think it would be poor form to let this occasion pass with out mentioning the efforts of Terry Gleeson, he has just been released and will line out with Tolka Rovers in the LSL for next season. I, for one, must thank him for his efforts for the club, especially during the run in last season, he scored the vital goal against Finn Harps which put us in the driving seat for the promotion hunt.

He was one of the best players we had all season, and only for an unfortunate injury mid way through the season, he was looking like being an ever present, the receipient of the "Vin de France" man of the match award on a number of occasions, While his first team appearances this season were limited, due to the signings of Jason Colwell and Dom Tierney, Terry will be sorely missed by all Dublin City fans. He leaves Dublin City with all the best wishes of the club and he will always have the eircom League First Division medal from last season, which can never be taken away!!!

Terry thanks for all the memories, and the best of luck at Frank Cooke Park next season.

Indeed. Hope to see Terry back in the eL (class player at First Division level) before too long.

Any news on certain players who may or may not be making the same move?

Nothing as yet, presume you mean Robbie Farrell and Keith Maher, its hard to see them continue in the squad with the limited number of games they have had all year. Two honest players, both excellent last season, but if rumours are true they may be on their way.
