    The Year of the Cups?

I know everyone wants to win the league, but I think we can leave that until next year. This could be the year of the CUPS. If we get over Nantes, I don't see any reason why we can't win the thing. Beating Schalke04 in the final would be a nice twist for the old Hibs supporters, and would bring a natural end to those who claim that old football is best, and the 25,000 crowd in the Lodge, etc etc. And as for the FAI Cup, having watched the (admittably only the home) european games, we are perfectly suited to cup football. City at 13/2 looks a very good bet to me. UCD are good but come on, they're not Malmo. Or NEC. A Cup Final with 15,000 from Cork would be some day out. Where would they play it?

Only because you were in the final.
If it's 2 Dublin clubs or a Dublin club and a small "provincial" club then it will be right back in Tolka Park.
If it's Longford and Cork City it'll be a sell-out in Lansdowne

Exactly. there was about 15,000 at last years cup final and only about 5-6,000 of that was pats fans. 2 teams from outside of the pale like longford and cork would have a crowd around 25-30,000
