just heard from me ma, that a certain joe from 451 was on des cahill about an hour ago on rte radio 1, saying how well city had done

Nice interview, well done Joe.
Cahill tried to be a small bit churlish, saying it was only a 1/4 final, in just one of 3 groups of the competition, but then copped himself on. Tony, a City fan was on also and made some very good points about the eL in general as well.
Joe was very praiseworthy of Dolan, I suppose it is well to keep in with the boss

Cahill tried to be a small bit churlish

In fairness to Cahill I'd say he was only playing devils advocate by saying if was only the 1/4 finals.(After all its what a lot of the begrudgers and barstoolers would say). Cahill is one of the better supporters of Eircom League on RTE Radio along with Con Murphy and Tony O'Donoghue.
