Sugar Loaf Mountain

Anyone know of any good restaurants or hotels near to The Sugar Loaf in Wicklow that they would recommend?

Nearest hotel is the Glenview, about a mile away. From the car park in Calary, turn left and follow that road down to the end, and the Glenview is signposted from there I think.

For restaurants, best bet (other than the above) is probably Greystones; loads of choice there.

There's several places in Roundwood too. Right out of the car park, left at the T junction and then straight into Roundwood. Roundwood Inn would be a bit more of a foodie place, Coach House for more standard pub grub, and then on Sundays Kavanaghs does food as well. There was Woods restaurant too (At Brynes and Woods pub), but it was closed - I believe it'll be reopened with more a pub grub menu but not sure where that's at (could already be back serving).

I think the Glencormac Inn, in Kilmac also does food, but it might only be weekends/ sundays as well.

Just as a btw, make sure nothing's left on view in the car in the Sugarloaf car park.

I was in the Glenview last week and got food in the bar, I'd highly recommend it.
