Ya its not. Its called "International Junior Player of the Year". Did Pike have anyone on the International Junior team this season? Genuine question.

wouldnt be too sure... could be open to correction but i think a few of them made a traing match or something without the regular squad players,Mullins, Borris i thunk.. as i said, i stand open to correction.

My accum would be (and it would pay odds of over 17/1, well worth 10euro)

    Carndonagh v Ballymun (Draw @ 9/4)
    Kilbarrack v Sandyhill (Home win @ 6/4)
    O Devaney v Sheriff YC (Away win @ 4/9)
Pike Rovers v Clonmel Celtic (Home win @ 1/2)

Well there are 2 posts, one on this page by @hotspur 13/02/2012 1:13pm 'Karma.what goes around comes around. ' to the Midelton lads after losing to Ballymun and more disturbing one by @theboywonder8 15/01/2012 12:45pm 'can you post todays score please' on the Castlebar Celtic FC thread on the day they lost to Sherriff.

to me these 2 posts are bang out of order and show a lack of grace and its thing like this that get Pike fans a bad rap on here, I'm pretty sure that the 2 posters arent representative of the vast majority of Pike fans, but it does leave a bad taste. I can only concur with MilfordFC when he congratulates Pike on their team and travelling support as I mentioned before my only dealings with Pike were similar to Milfords, we also got handed a football lesson but the Pike people carried themselves with a humility and dignity that can be only but admired.

anyway just wanted to get that off my chest and want to confirm that I am not tarring all Pike people with the same brush.

Best of luck to all 8 teams left
Not a fair post at all but one i am not suprised with how do you know theboywonder and hotspur are pike rovers supporters.

    Carndonagh v Ballymun

fancy Ballymun at 5/4, watched the Carndonagh v Tramore match in the last round and Carndonagh were set up well as a team and have a strong back 4 and a good keeper, there midfield and strikes are not up to much. fancy Ballymun to beat them

Minesapint its pointless dragging up this rubbish again, lets just focus on the game and let the best team win,my god this constant snipping back and forth involving pike and other clubs is quite frankly boring, lets leave it out for pity sake.

Good Man Minesapint Friends again ha!Hopefully lad although the bookies and most of town arent giving us much of a chance,we will need our better players to be on top form and of course a bit of luck. They have built a strong side over the last few months in fairness to them.
