I actually thought they'd really stepped it up from the Sheriff game when I glance at the Irish Times who still have the name as Limerick 37... http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/...305205030.html

More so Paddy Purcell imho, but there's no way we were gonna risk him.

The re-appearance of Stephen O'Flynn alone was worth the price of the ticket. His play for Lims' second goal was devastating - he's an animal.
You have a proper man crush on Stephen O'Flynn!

Was good to see him back - but a bit depressing at the same time - if only we'd had him all year

First half (and first 20 seconds of second half, sweet jaysus!!) last night was pretty shameful from our point of view but twas always a possibility with the team we put out.

Second half was the wacky cup tie I had travelled up expecting to see, our 3-2-5 formation for the last twenty minutes was very un Scully like!!

There's something seriously lacking in Shels though, a sports psychologist or something should be seriously considered. Did their absolute best to fire away a three goal lead against a reserve Limerick team. The left full who got the free in stoppage time was actually embarrassing, he took at least seven minutes over it.

Overall, entertainingish stuff, thanks in no small part to the two lads in the Limerick section acting the propah nawty. No one even knew who they were!

Those two lads were, as you say, proper nawty lol!!

Shels are nervous because, well, its been a long haul down in the First Division and every time we have looked like getting out we have messed up. And I dont just mean the players - the fans get nervous. Very nervous. Saying that I would rather be in our postion than Limericks!

I thought Limerick were pretty poor except for 25 mins of the 2nd half - I wouldnt be too harsh on Shels, Skinner in goal was at fault for 2 or maybe all of the goals. He hasnt played that much so was expecting a few mishaps from him tbh. Why wasnt Flynn playing earlier in the game? I was very impressed by him when he came on.

You had 6 players who started against us two weeks ago, and we had 6 players who started against you two weeks ago.
