the first stage proper of the 2004 tour de france is from liege to CHARLEROI on sunday afternon 4 th july.
ive been to the tour in france so you can expect very heavy traffic in the charleroi area (including roads blocked off etc).
factor this into your travel plans.
btw it will be from charleroi on monday to namur so it will be busy monday as well !!!!!!.
