He really is though. We would not be top of the league with a different keeper, bailed us out so many times.

I think my teams player is better than your teams player in their respective positions.

The season isnt over yet especially after last night. We have another chance off yee last day of the season. Any slip ups yee have between now and the could be fatal, Very difficult games against Mons, Limerick, Longford, and Waterford.

    I disagree strongly.

You actually have that completely backwards and frankly I'm aghast at your error of judgement.

Last night being no different, made 2 good saves from Cummins in the second half.
He did ok and certainly kept the score down but the fact that the defence was under such incessant pressure in the second half meant it had to buckle at some point.
I wondered at one point if our 3rd goal would ever come but once it did it was merely a matter of how many.

Delaney didn't make a single mistake all year in any competition until the last match against Salthill. Then he looked a little bit dodgy (ok letting 4 goals in is very dodgy) against Cork.

You don't become a sh!te keeper overnight so either this is a blip and he's the best keeper in the league or something very strange indeed is happening. I don't think that's the situation here.

If I was a Shels player right now I'd be fyckin raging at that loss and I'd be looking to destroy Longford.

Just saw the Shels highlights on the VIMEO website, and if he hadn't been on his heels he would have gotten to that ball. Also from looking at the highlights, Shels should have gone at least 2-0 up and Matthews was very disappointed that they didn't. Could have been a different game, but it was all City after that.

That was 6 years ago. But it doesn't really matter what other fans think to be honest. Anyone that has watched him week in week out for the last few years will know just how important he has been to us. As for the match the other night. We got battered. Simple as. But it was very uncharacteristic of the way we have been this season. Next week in Longford will give a good indication as to whether it was just a slip up or the start of a slump.

I wouldnt mind seeing shels up, but be warned on that 10 pt lead (now 7), I think we had an even bigger one and either blew it or finished a pt clear, going into the last game as 2nd favs.

I would personally have more interest in both Cork & Limerick getting up as it would be fantastic for the lge to have two munster PD sides, and hopefully both strong sides too. You never know how the season will pan out, shels will prob make it, followed by cork and hopefully limerick in the play off v galway.

Who would be the best supported team in Dublin.Talking potential fan bases.I'd go for:
    1.Shamrock Rovers
    2.Shelbourne
    3.Bohemians
    4.St.Patricks
    5.UCD.Obviously

Anyone know where the majority of Shelbourne's fans derive from.North or South of the Liffey?

I would put Bohs ahead of us but did anyone see their attendance against Rovers the other night. Jeez-oh! I don't get the neck them and Pats have slagging us about about lack of fans. I've seen some absolutely horrific crowds at both Dalyer and the Syringe Siro.

Nice job on cutting that part of my post out and taking it completely out of context.
