The lady's are winning all round them again as usual, in the semi final on Sunday down in cork and playing College Corinthians.
If they win the final will be in flancare
I also heard rumours the town are considering entering a lady's team into the soon to be created by the FAI Women's senior division, I think there will be a premier and 2nd division.
Anyone have any info on any of that?
Edit: Cocked up the title, can Mr. Mod change ''616'' to U16
5-0 win for anyone who cares!
good win for the girls, if im not mistaken they are at home in the final now? is that right acornvilla? well done to all involved, the girls and coaches all put in a lot of effort.
I've been told they won't be allowed hold it in flancare now as Its their home ground, Final will be in Athlone instead
Playing St. Joseph's (Joey's) in the final.
Heard there's a write up about it in the leader, also there might be some info about Joey's in last weeks star, you know they do the under-age pull out, will probably be more in next weeks
There's a report in the pull-out section in The Star today.
yep its definitely true that they cant host the underage final in flancare heard this at the charity shield draw on monday night last!
Gary Cronin is he the right man to manage Longford Town?
Ah no surprise the final was in Athlone last year too, hopefully the can go 1 step further this time round.

Funny reading the paper there's a write up about the final and mentions that Eoin Killackey is the assistant manager when I know for a fact he is the man doing all the management and coaching
Final is going to be in Mullingar now by the way
Drew 1-1 and lost 3-2 on penos conceded the equaliser on 93rd minute absolute sickener, really should have won thou just very unlucky, the st josephs keeper was brilliant shes the u17 national gk apparently
Must be said 6 of the starting xi had to play for longford lady's who won the u16 all Ireland in Gaelic was it? the day before, pretty hard to play 2 finals in 2 days
International players on the St.Joeys team as they are known by the girls haha so it was a great effort very unlucky
