I think Newmarket against Hibs is the pick of the matches for sure could be a cracker.

Should be a good tournament and give an inkling as to how teams will do this year in their respective divisions...bit of added spice in that Shannon Town A and Hibs A will be playing in the same league.

Not a great result for Olympic ... I heard they haven't signed any new players and have lost 3 or 4

Wouldn't of known many of the Bridge Lads now at all.....look a decent enough young team like and could of won by a lot more. Olympic went down to 10 half way during the 2nd half because Alan Casey went off injured. They had no subs at all.....

The Olympic team was something like...Gerry McGettrick, Dave Collins, Donnacadh Kelly, Karl Fogarty, Ian Hogan, Ray Quigley, Alan Casey, Lake, Some Lad I didnt know and up front was Titch Hanley and Jay Stretton...and as I said they had no subs at all...

In all truth it was a poor game....I couldn't see The Bridge going on and beating the likes of Newmarket or Hibs A....

bridge were very under strength, had to call up some of there b team panel, players such as derek fahy, shane devanney, mark culbert, anthony whyte, kieran quinlan, alan mul and jason whyte all to come back into contention for the shannon town b game, young side with great potential, only time will tell how they progress

the bridge had two b team players which one was a team last year... also they had a team players on the bench so the term 'very under strength' is a bit of an exaggeration no???

Fairly sure he is signed and all. If not just waiting to be released from Limerick.

Was just looking through the old wesley webb threads and its a bit weird that for the last 3 years Shannon Town A have got Olympic B as the first game each year... Maybe its just the look of the draw but its a big coincidence

Ya that should really be looked into. Seems a bit strange that Olympic B keep gettin such an easy draw.
