Is this the premier thread or a junior international thread
Getting back to The Limerick Premier League which this is, has anyone worn studs on Aisling's astro pitch or are moulded studs the only option?
Sunday 2/10/11
Kilmallock v Carew Park
VEry tough game against a very good kilmallock team as we seen on wen night hopefully we can keep this little run going.
there is no problem with my research boy wonder. hoops 38 questioned why players he named were not included in the last international squad which was an amateur squad and i gave him the reasons. however the previous squad which represented ireland in the quadrangular tournament last sept was a Junior squad which ex loi players are eligible to play. 3 players from Limerick were in this squad Brian Buckley (Fairview) and believe or not 2 players from Pike Hartnett and Hanrahan. there have been no junior internationals since this tournament. if you need further clarification on the eligibility and non eligibility of players for certain squads, just ask.
Massive game at the foot of the table tomorrow night out in annacotty, hopefully all our lads rise to the occasion to get a much needed win,Im sure aisling see this as a must win too so should make for a very good match.
Kick off is 7pm on the new astro thomas.

Well deserved win for wembley who were by far d better team on the nite
The surface seemed to suit us and we played some great football..We were going through a bad patch of late but we showed real team spirit last night and got a well deserved 3 points.
Kilmallock 0 Carew Park 1, jamie Kelly
EXcellent result for carew this morning tough place to go bit sloppy first half 0-0. second half was a huge improvement scored goal on 70mins great free kick out wide from pa boyle and a very good side foot finish by jamie Kelly. Kilmallock had two good chance both very well saved from Gordon carew also had a few chances. GReat 3pts joint 2nd with the boro and seven wins on the bounce

good win for wembley yesterday and totally outplayed aisling.must say the astro turf is some set up.also good 3 points for carew away to a sticky kilmallock.
fairview in bottom half of the table with more loses than wins, thats a bit of a shock, whats going on there
Crippled with injuries bud and to there so called "bigger" players too, Pat McGarry & and Paul Harman out for the season and Colm Heffernan out for last month to name a few, another 3 or 4 out aswell. started to blood through a few youths this year to see if they are up to the task of premier football when they come out of minor grade next year.
