That is a fantastic result, winning the home leg was some achievement, but this tops the lot! Well done Cork City, doing the Eircom League proud and hoping the eL gets a lot more recognition now...

Fantastic result for City. Winning in cork was brilliant but to go away and win is out of this world. Good luck in the next round..

ccfcgirl when did this happen, I was at the game and left a few minutes before the Cork fans left but all the Malmö fans had already left and there was one policeman standing at the back, four more sitting in a car about 100m away didn't see any trouble whatsoever unless the Malö fans came back into the ground.

There was no actual trouble at the match. A couple of the Malmo fans tried to make their way over to us but got stopped by police and arrested, I presume for having knifes or something, not sure why they were arrested. Police gave us the escort because they said that some of the Malmo fans wanted to cause trouble

There were about 15 casuals looking for trouble, but the real Malmo fans were fine. Apparently one of them said something like "a victory for football over money" to one of the lads.
