Well done to the Bit O' Red. The title race is really hotting up. Pat's could be back on top tomorrow but I would not write off Dundalk for an away win. I'm a bit surprised to see them 7th. I thought they'd have been at least challenging in the top half where Bohs currently lie.

A Championship: 4 years - 8 first teams - 0 financially ruined. First Division '14: 7 first teams.
Opportunity lost for new clubs/regions to join the LoI family.
1-1 in Richmond so far, Doyle for Pat's and Griffin for Dundalk.
Life without Rovers, it makes no sense...it's a heartache...nothing but a fools game. S.R.F.C.
2-1 to Dundalk. Cat, pigeons, etc.
commentary for this game online anywhere?
Manager: Fergal, have you your boots with ya?
Fergal: Ya, I have them here.
Manager: Ah good stuff, well give them to this man so, he forgot his!

2-2 full time. That'll do. Still top
Why did Pat's not start North today - injured, suspended or rested before Europe? If it's the latter then this could be a huge 2 points lost at the end of a season where they have a big big chance of clinching a rare recent title. I don't think you'd see Sligo or Derry do this before a European match - if indeed this was the reason.
North was injured along with Mulcahy and Shorthall, Stephen Bradley was suspended, 1 point off the top with both Rovers still to go into Europe happy days
TCM that must have been taken a good bit before the game, There was a decent crowd at it for a Sunday afternoon during oxygen with a Dubs game on
Here on a technicality.
Yep, Pat's are definitely still well in there and injuries are going to affect all of the four title chasing teams in fairness - that coupled with suspensions near the end of the season will be vital if it remains this tight until the end.
A decent result for both teams. Though it looked if Pat's would score from every corner, free kick, and throw in. Our "strategy" of playing no recognised centre-halves combined with Pat's height advantage caused us no end of problems.
Thought we played good football and opened them up on several occasions. The result was fair.
Enjoyable game.
Fair comments White Horse - it was a very enjoyable match
To their credit St Pats know their own strenghts and play to them. They were dangerous at every set piece - which includes any free kick or throw-in in the opposing half - while Dundalk looked suspect under the high ball. Daryl Kavanagh and Shane McFaul were very good for Pats, while Dundalk's makeshift central defenders Simon Madden and Dean Bennett shone along with Marc Griffin.
As Danny Kearns gets more and more anonymous each game, Grffins star shines all the brighter. This was his fifth consecutive league match to score and since he made his full debut in late May he now has 8 goals in 11 games (8 in 10 league games). It's not just his finishing that is top drawer but his general all-round play. If he keeps this up he has a big future ahead of him, having just turned 20 years old a few weeks ago
