Now I love the oul stick fighting and think a lot of the Gaa bashing that goes on around here has to do with chips on shoulders..... But speaking of chipped shoulders was watching the highlights of the Galway v Clare massacre on The Sunday Game earlier and came across this (40 seconds in):
There's dirty belts and there's that!! The hurling equivalent of the two footed lunge only with added potentially life threatening consequences!
That would be extolled as one of the joys of "Munster" hurling. Back in 1999 I had the chance to watch the Waterford SHC Final. Ballygunner and I can't remember the opposition. It was like something from a sword and sandal epic with all sorts of gobdaws joining in. This guy should get a year ban.
