Greenwoods draw yesterday has more or less condemned them to relegation. Leeside safe, Knockavilla the only other team potentially in trouble

Alrite chief, can honestly say ive had the most enjoyable, stress free, satisfying couple of months- now dealing with a genuine, attentive, honest and enthusiastic bunch in Lakewood, - the academy kids!!! What a buzz these kids give you! Delighted to be able to give them a hand and we'll see what next season brings!

Team of they year - wouldnt like to be the people judging that this year .

Park on for a possible double . But Glen Celtic on for a treble and could possibly go unbeaten in the league for the season . Least amount of goals conceded and also one of the highest golascorers in the AUL and now the northside sports award for April.

Park are flying in the premier surely look to have that wrapped up but wont have it all their own way in the AOH cup final . Kilumney will give them a good fight for that trophy

Anyone know how the award is decided?

To win the team of the year, you have to have been awarded through the season with a team of the month award. Team of year then will come out of all the team of month winners. I presume both Glen and Park have won team of month through out the season?

The team of the year is a beauty pageant.
    It means nothing.
The real team of the year is the Premier Winner - end of!!!

Congrats to Glen, but Div 1 + a few cups of lower value should never beat the Premier winner.
The AUL can decide who they like is the team of the year but for me it will always be the winner of the top division.

I think Kinsale Wilton tonight will be a good game to watch of course all depending on the weather . Also another good match will be Greenwood who need to get points to stay up but I think I will make trip down to watch Kinsale and Wilton .

Right so, boo&bluey/Shilts/Sharpshooter/Parkboy - spill the beans on the last day of MSL applications. For me, like many things in Ireland, politics is playing too much of a part. All Senior teams run by MSL, all Junior teams run by AUL. Winner of Prem automatically goes up if they meet decided criteria - one comes down from MSL senior Div 2. Makes AUL stronger because the likes of the Mount and Mayfield come back - makes the MSL stronger because the best junior side around automatically strenghtens the herd each year as the weakest is trimmed. It also allows a club with a junior side not to lose out because they stayed loyal to AUL like Leeds & Castleview.

Fairplay to Bohs - I didnt think they would win on Sunday. Puts us even more in the mire now. We are confident we can do the necessary though. Our game against Springers is off later

Many reasons, thank God season behind us. Same can be asked of Wilton & Kinsale sure. All the so called contenders at start of the year haven't been up to standard his year

Good call by Billy/Barry to clarify at this stage of the season the happenings with the ups and downs as far as the end of season goes.

I know there is a lot of talk about make up of divisions next year but for the teams playing right now it is important to focus on what you can control win what you can...
”That should be NO problem for the defence – OH NOOOO!!”
