Carrig and Broadford have what would seem winable games. V tough draw for Shannonside but they gave a good performance against Sherrif in the Fai so you never know

I heard there is a charity game between the winning oscar traynor team of 2008 and the current newcastle west team on today at 2 in newcastle, could be decent game an its for charity so if you can you should support.

I was at that game and it was very enjoyable to watch but that is not how i saw it.Yes newcastle did go up 4 nil but the oscar traynor team strenghtened their team by bringing on ray lynch and garry egan and responded well by scoring 8 with out reply. The only messing i seen was when they were up 7-4.I just said id clarify buddygearys report.Well done to both teams as it was great charity,a pity there was not more there.

Shannonside were runners up in the premier last season....really unlucky not to win it. It went down to the last day.
From the link above they only lost one league game this season out of 8.
You can expect a physical contest.

2 late goals to make it 4:2? I thaught they were 1:0 up and 2:1 up before going down 4:2 as opposed to scoring 2 late goals to make it 4:2 no?
I'm open to correction on this...

Shannonside were 1-0 up
And then 1-1 and then went 2-1 up,, and lost 4-2 by two late goals

Newcastle west v broadford is off tomorrow morning.

Newcastle player has left newastle and signed for airtricty league side athlone town
