Could you name the players that played last season under the management, that are not playing this season under the new management. i think you will see there is only one player and that is Ollie byrnes who retired after playing 17 seasons in junior soccer for Rathkeale. Please in future before you make rediculious comments have the FACTS to back them up.

Well they must have gone playing with them this year but a rathkeale player did tell me that which is a fact

Ya I heard the same about rathkeale, I also heard the reason dave roche left abbey was their captain, I heard it's impossible to get on with him and that alot of the abbey lads find it hard to put up with his ego

Broadford v glin and abbey v ratkeale shud be two cracking games the wknd.Who is the abbey captain this year?roche is a quality player.

Ya your spot on, All games this week look good. We should know within the next two weeks what clubs are up there challenging and who will struggle. I think if Newcastle keep clinging on to the top until their players come back, then they would be hard to beat for the title

If Roche is not playn for Abbey this year who is he playing for? Hes a very good player for them to lose. Cant see John Kelliher with a massive ego though!

The U19 list is in this weeks Weekly Observer and the Junior list is in last weeks one dated August 24th. Be warned tho, it NEVER pans out like it should as soon as Jack Frost comes...

Fair enough Enforcer, i suppose its hard to get on with everybody!! Best of luck to him with Janesboro. Hes good enough for it anyway. Do any local bookies take odds on who will win the premier does any1 know? I know the bookies in askeaton take odds on who will win the county from the Junior A up. 'twud be interestn to see the odds!

Is john kelliher still captain of abbey?managers must be happy wit him if they keep him in that position,I played against him and with him at oscar traynor a good number of yrs ago an taut he was ok(def no ego).Will da gaa effect many premier teams for nxt few wks?will broadford be full strenght wit the gaa on this wknd?
