Well done to Ncw, pity shannonside and ballingarry didn't have better luck. Broadford and breska still getting good results. Good wins for kildimo, killeaney, carrig and athea also. The youths had a very good result on sat, hopefully they will get out of group now

2-0 is putting the shine on shannonside in this one.Completely outclassed by Dynamos especially in the second half when the home side should of scored at least 3 or 4 clear cut chances brought on by excellant passing play from Tralee...I think it will a b cracking game in the next round against ether Howth or Sherriff YC.I will put my neck out there and say Tralee to progress.

what game were u watchin yesterday realcelt?! Shannonside could & should have been up 3-0 at half time. Dynamos didint create 1 good chance in d first half. In d second alright dynamos were d better side as shannonside tired. They only got the break through wit a dubious penalty for handball and scored d second wit d last kick of d game as shannonside were chasing. I think sheriff wil beat dynamos in d next round even though dynamos had a good second half they dont look like potential winners!

Realcelt, you are talking through your reala**e. Don't know if you were at the game but if you were you obviously don't have a clue about soccer. What about Shannonsides 3 or 4 clear cut chances in the first half, one in the first minute, one off the line and one just grazing the post. Ya, Dynamos had 2 or 3 good chances in the second half but they had nothing in the first. I think shanonside performed outstanding considering the were playing against a team which had 5 or 6 ex-league of ireland players and themselves missing Daniel Power and Damien Fitzgibbon. As for Dynamos beating Sheriff, not a hope, If they get the same referee they might have a chance because they intimidated him, abused him and influenced his decisions throughout the game yesterday. Sheriff beware!!! If a desmond league referee was refereeing yesterday at least 3 dynamos would have walked. Well done Shannonside and Newcastle West.

I will admit I missed the first 10-15 minutes of the game and I was told they had a few chances alright to score but these came about from sloppy Dynamos play, all the football was being played by Dynamos where Shannonside relied a bit too much on hitting high balls up to their big centre forward,I did say that especially in the 2nd half Dynamos outclassed their opponents and would have had double the 3 or 4 chances Shannonside had in the first half.As for the breakthrough goal..it was a peno.Referee was a bit influenced by BOTH sides on decisions regarding offsides and stuff but no 2 or 3 Dynamos players gave any of the kind of abuse you seem to b talking about.maybe a bit of sour grapes there I think. As for Sheriff I think Dynamos will have a good chance against them because of their experience and can play ball too.Everyone has their own opinion on games!

Great weekend for Desmond teams, Youths now have a great chance of progressing from a tough group, NCW beating Avenue and reaching the last 64 of the FAI along with Broadford who marched on in the Munster Junior.Kildimo's win against NCW Rovers leaves them with a real chance of staying up and leaves Ncw Rovers in trouble, They have dropped down the division at an alarming rate, have they lost players this season? Also both Shannonside & Ballingarry gave a good account of themselves which is good for the league in general.

*****Please note domestic Youths games for today 3/12/11 are cancelled. Munster Youths games Abbeyfeale/Killarney and Athea/Ncw Rvs are still on.***
only right for youths games to be off in this weather...if any underage match goes ahead it gives little chance of a junior game been held on the same field on sunday..
