    It wouldn't be the first time players from Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland represented GB in the olympics

    Get the feeling the SFA, FAW and IFA only are now because of money.

    It turns out that a Great Britain and NI team, controlled by the FA, competed in the Olympics up until 1972, although the last Olympics for which they qualified were the games in Rome in 1960.

    The BBC at its best 'The Italian team England faced in 1960 included current Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni'.

    We also played them in Dublin and Watford in the 68 qualifiers. 0-2 & 0-6 unfortunately.
