you could be correct. Heard earlier, tipp cup semi final is now changed to Saturday night, March 24th, but open to correction of course!

Cahir did not wanrt to play this weekend as their youths are playing Munster Cup Semi and they have 5 or 6 youths on the Junior panel.

I don't think the good people of the TSDL appreciate the fact that St.Patricks Day is a day of celebration/family/parades and big silly green hats! What did St.Patrick do to the TSDL? I hope its nothing to do with snakes!

The TSDL and its hierarchy dont care about families, friends, celebrations, festivities and public celebrations. Ask any club that have asked for a weekend off due to weddings 21st,30ths etc all with good cause, the norm of the answer or reply is ney or thumbs down. yes they want to get their league fixtures done and be known as a well run league....yes its run well but the league prem, 1st division, youths etc is nearly complete by patricks day.. are they serious by not giving clubs weekends off...do people remember playing til april/may and the sun being out???!Correct the league is ran well but common sense is not a very good attribute they have.this will continue until the powers that are known step down, and that is not in the near future im afraid.. so hear hear to the league for putting on games after patricks day and hear hear for running a great league(sarcasm).

just seen the tsdl website, they really have cracked on with the suspensions this season. especially tough on bansha lads that are going to miss paddy purtill final aswell as killusty and cullen players who look like there going to miss their clubs play off games. Any views on this??

It's admin gone to far!! Most leagues including pro leagues have an amnesty from the end of March and carry yellow suspensions on to the following season just for this reason, only red cards can prevent players playing late on in the season. These are amateur players and Finals may only come along once for some of them, admin men get so in to the paperwork they forget the real reason we all get involved in sport and that is to get players to these kind of games.

  18. Thanks From:

I see st micks beat oldbridge 1nil yestrerday in tipp cup, how did it go, time of goal, first goalscorer, etc

paddy power had betting friday evening on this, but had it taken away sunday mornin, i say they were afraid they could lose a lot. The ht/ft was 4/7, would it have come in if i backed it?

The goal scored in 44th minute, a direct free-kick, scorer was John Connery.

Well said West Hammer, Lewis and that Committee are miles apart from the reality of trying to get lads to play football, suspensions like that and denying lads to play a penultimate stages of seasons would have them asking questions as to why they would bother
