lads there is a big difference in both situations as if im correct the saints b v old bridge was pulled on the sat because of players getting called to oscar traynor on the next day, town must have had an idea early in the week that they were going to be struggling on sunday which would have given them time to request a day off because of their youths playin oscar traynor. they also could have said complex was unplayable when dundrum contacted them about the switch if they were struggling that bad. agree saints have a severe test on sunday nenagh are flying high and are fancying their chances of winning this tie saints will have to be on the top of their game to pass this test.

nenagh are going well but i dont think they have been tested yet. i actually think saints will win this quiet comfortably maybe 3 or 4-1. with the attacking force saints have i feel they will be just too strong. have clonmel town any hope this sunday. last few weeks seem to be poor just wondering can they turn it around.

on a side note to the big fai games this weekend, great to see so many new refs this season in the tsdl and there performing well in the lower divisions. good for the league hopefully they stick at it, gain the experience and progress up to do bigger games.

If you're a Cashelman why do you spend so much time on here talking about Clonmel Town. Why not focus on your home town team and give them a bit of support??

Which resulted in our b team getting a few hammering as lads were moved up to cover 1st team
Despite others on this forum saying otherwise town are in transition that's a fact just look at the players that have left / retired last 2 seasons and these players have not been replaced and I think the players that have come in are no where as good as the players they lost which results in a weaker squad and when you get a spate of injuries which all clubs get during a season that's the root of the problem at town , where is the munster youths winning team ? They should be backboning the team
While i respect your comments i dont think you should be saying that Town should of beat Dundrum with whatever team they had out first of all you know nothing about the players that had to play with some been as young as 16 which faced against any adult would find it difficult....one point i do agree with you on is the munster youths team should be the backbone of the team now but unfortunately for reasons only the players can answer not many of them are playing football anymore for one reason or another.Gaa has a big say in Clonmel and with many of the young lads been successful they seem to be turning to Gaa.Come the European Championships in the summer you could see a big turn around again with more coming back to soccer if the Irish team can have any bit of success however as long as the lads are been successful in gaa its only going to get tougher for Clonmel Town.

I would also like to say well done to Dundrum last sunday they capitalised on Towns misfortunes and have not got the credit they deserve. Its easy to knock Town for losing but as a Town fan this is what cup football is all about and everyone at the club would wish Dundrum the best of luck in the next round and lets hope for a few more upsets along the way.

Chops if you had read my earlier post I did ask ( what was the town team) ? I still stand by my point that town just like saints Celtic villa etc shud be beating lower division teams but as you say that's cup football also others in this forum were calling for heads to roll which I was totally against as for your point about 16 year old s playing I agree 100% it shud nt happen but it was just one if those days for town we all have had them and I would but my house on there being a massive reaction from town against celtic next weekend , what a game to have when you come of a defeat like last week

I don't think the European Championships will sway 18 or 19 year olds away from Football. It may have an effect on kids but not bonafide adults.

I assume you mean discipline and what issues are you referring to?

I note you use the plural of the word assaults, what other ones are you referring to apart from that unsavourary incident at a recent schoolboy game when one of our players assaulted a Bansha player? To be honest I am reluctant to discuss schoolboy matters as you're talking about children but you don't seem to have an issue with that. Suffice to say Clonmel Celtic have up to 100 kids registered with the club and for you to say the club has a discipline problem because of the actions of one child, who hugely regretted what he did and has been punished for same, is fairly pathetic on your part.

As for managers enroaching playing pitches. Perhaps you might ask your buddy who played for Clonmel Town about an incident a few years back where a Clonmel Town official ran onto the pitch and struck a St Martins player. I think before you start tapping away on the keyboard you should give the subject matter some thought. Clonmel Celtic's discipline is no better or worse than any other club in the league. If it was a problem the TSDL would have brought it to the club's attention a long time ago. If you want to make some snide remarks about a club come up with some proper evidence.

11-0, should be blown up in fairness for it got to that stage. WWEC must be poor, ud imagine they could pull a competitive 11 together when you have the pick of a couple of clubs in a league. Football can be a cruel game though so maybe just a bad day at the office.

How do you see the big games going tomoro nononsense??

Tipperary Cup result to-night- St.Michaels 'B' 3, St.Nicholas 3 after extra time. Went to sudden death penalties, a lot of penalties missed and saved, St.Nicholas won the shoot-out 3-2.
