Thread open again and as theBoss says lads keep it non personal and attack the post not the poster, text speak is pure laziness, type out your words like the rest of us do.
Some of the removed posts from this thread quoted a rubbish post or would have been left with no context so were removed because of it.
Few teams must be interested in larry corbett, the man is a goal machine![]()
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
Did St.Micheals sign or lose any big players this year lads?
lar corbett in talks with pike
I think it's all quiet at the moment at saints general feeling no one leaving but lots of guys on holidays so the picture will be clearer in few weeks but saying that I don't think saints need a whole pile they have some good youths coming through so I expect them to be promoted to 1 st team squad. Any word on other clubs
whats story with timmy kiely. is he back living in tipp. not with cork city anymore would be good addition for saints next season if available
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
Not sure about timmy his back in town who knows watch this space I suppose , any word on cahir park the Carrick connection seems to have quietened down
wayne fitzgerald is definitly NOT joining cahir this year, this is fact
I heard Thurles are playing are playing Clonmel Town B in a friendly tuesday in the complex would be interesting to see what Thurles are like apparently they have a host of new players and are supposed to be quiet strong
They will be decent goin forward i would say, a few lovely players there. Not sure about at the back though.
Any views on how division 1 will go this year. 2 decent teams in town b and glengoole after being promoted so should be competitive league. Not sure if cahir and saint nicholas are in the division. if there mot moyglass and oldbridge probably the two strongest teams in the division and favourates for promotion
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
Cahir should be premier league along with st nicholas, shouldnt be any debate about this.
I would give glengoole a good chance of promotion, there a decent team. Oldbridge, galbally and moyglass to fight for promotion with glengoole my outside tip.
Some players are of the opinion they can sign for several clubs and the club they actually play for is the team they are tied to. This is not true. Once a player signs for a club he is tied to that club. Last year several players multi-signed. They were fined heavily and suspended. I'm told some players have already done that this season, a few of them premier players. They can be prepared for the consequences. Once a player signs for a club he is tied to that club. He can of course transfer before 30th September once transfer forms are filled out and relevant transfer fee is paid. Just though clubs and players should know this before they put pen to paper.
So has anyone heard of the rumours that only one team is being promoted from the first division and only Galbally relegated...
not the best idea really in my opinion. that will leave premier with only 8 teams and division 1 with 9 teams. should be other way round as division 1 teams have paddy purtill cup and division 1 shield in addition to there league games, mjc fai and tipp cup games which is alot of games. hopefully the ruling is just a once off this season and from now on will revert back to old system of 2 up 2 down. id say nicholas not being too bothered bout going up and cahirs facilitys etc being great asset to premier league plus rock rovers demise i suppose may have influenced the decison.
just on a side note the level of inconsistency on these kind of things is abit baffling. can remember few years back town B came second in division 1 couldnt go up to premier. borris finished 2nd from bottom of premier but were relegated as ruling was 2 had to go down now it works the other way with only 1 going down. i know its very hard to run leagues and fair play to those that do it but does anyone else find it frustrating when rules change from year to year
if it wasnt for birds and booze id have played for ireland juniors!!!!!
