    Wedding Music

    Hi all you muso's...

so im getting married in August and there will be a load of Croats and Irish at it. It really is a mixed bag of a crowd and im looking for some suggestions for tunes that will get people of all ages up and boogeying. We have a DJ so im sure he will take care of the main floor fillers... but i suppose im looking for some other suggestions from people here to add to his list... especially some Irish songs...

    Any help suggestions appreciated!!

    Congrads SkStu !!!!

Where is it on, here or there?

Not for the floor, more for the aisle. was at a wedding where that was played as the bride came up the aisle, went down well

Floor fillers, i suppose some Madness gets everyone up or stuff like Stevie Wonder, etc.

But is it more Irish bands you are after ..... how about this

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Congrats to you both on the nuptials!

If you're going to have a mini-Irish invasion this one from the Pogues might go down well.

My brother got married in Norway a few years ago, and the band there (just two blokes) kept the floor filled by playing Whiskey in the Jar 7 or 8 times during the evening! Lizzy's version is a bit slow, but there's bound to be a more hooley-style version out there somewhere.

    Congratulations.

House Of Pain - Jump Around, maybe ? bit of a proven floor filler there, not sure if its wedding material though.
