d power good ref, able to keep up with the game, to be fair all u want from a ref is a bit of consistency,most of the time its the sideline or team shouts loudest gets the free, but they have an impossible job.

great win for bruff after goin a goal down in the 2nd half to a peno..bounced straight back and deserved the win..ref had a good game too even though there was alot of play acting from the away team and asking the ref to book players not nice to see
kennedy park 1 shelbourne 1 .ref ollie hayes had ashocker gave a goal to shels to equalise after ablatant handball.he was then surrounded by K.P. players and 2 guys who came in of the line.there protests worked becuse shels then scored a perfectly good goal which ollie disallowed.when asked after the game why he dissallowed the goal he said offside when it was pointed out that the ball was passed back from the endline he then changed his answer. after all that a draw was a fair result.
bruff deserved there win no doubt,play actin is rubbish talk!!bruffs simon delaneys carry on towards the end was a disgrace,yet again he showed his through colours!!!
what was wrong with simon delaney was he asking the ref to book players?? was he rolling around the grass after a 50/50 tackle like he was after breaking his leg then as soon as the player got a yellow bounces straight back up to his feet??? in my opinion the lad was a bit worked up from the occasion and a few tackles that were flying in as they do in local derbys and he was giving as good as he was getting of yer players and off yer sideline but it jst got to ye a bit more cos ye were loosing 4-1 at that stage..
ya showed his true colours alright.fought to the end and got stuck in to every challenge.a bit of banter towards the end from simon was expected as he was was hyped up with winning a derby match.wouldnt call that a disgrace now would we.

Heard Artlunkard are objecting against the Boro onthe grounds of players on the card not signed. I was at the game and Boro struggled to fill a team like they do most weeks, and like they did last season when they had to give walk overs and were thrown out of the leauge. Artlunkard were 2 up with 30 minutes to go and lost 3-2. They way I look at it, it was 11 v 11 and they threw it away, sour grapes from supposedly football men in charge there, why teams cant take a beating in this town if beyond me. Artlunkard should be embarrased..... they won't get nowhere near promotion because they are not good enough.. from what I could see Boro beat them fair and square on the pitch. And I'm not a Boro man. I was at the game because it was on in the afternoon...
if boro had players on the card that are not signed then IMO atlunkard are dead right to lodge an objection regardless of winning or losin the match..
they were a holy show in the second half vs knockainey,players fighting wit each other all over the field,there manager left before the match was over!!!!I think they wil be very close to relegation!!
What a stupid statement.
How in Gods name were Athlunkard beaten fair and square "IF" the Boro were illegal, and regardless of whether Athlunkard win promotion or not "IF" the Boro were illegal then they (Athlunkard) are 100% correct to lodge an appeal.
"IF" the Boro are found guilty, then they should be docked points aswell as losing the 3pts from the game in question.
You say the way you look at it was "it was 11 v 11" so does that make it ok for any players to play for any club????
Like I said, its a stupid statement.
And for what its worth, I was told that the Boro only had 5 players 10minutes before kick off (not sure how true this is though)

Don't know about the five before the match, but I know they struggled to get eleven, As for the stupid statement, if Artlunkard had a problem with the card why didn't they say anything when they were 2 up, By that logic the attitude of Artlunkard would be "it's ok if we win, they're stuck for a team but if we lose we'll say something" how can that be right. Talking to someone last night and they have a named 3 players not signed, but I'm told only one was not signed. Still wrong and the boro will probably lose the points but, the player who is not signed would not get in the team anyway and has played with the boro all his life and was trying to help out by being a sub. Would you prefer what happened to them last year and to be kicked out of the league for giving walk overs?? They are struggling for a team and are still 2nd in the league so thats says a lot about the players they do have but you won't hear any credit for them. Artlunkard were beaten simple as that, and its true for waist high it could have been an over 40's team. Boro went out to play the match and won simple as that..... And don't tell me there isn't names on cards everyweek of fellas that aren't signed.
The player in question is a sub goalkeeper who was asked to play out field because we were stuck, who signed a form at the start of the season, so it's not that clear cut. As for athlunkard thay were well beaten on the day by half a Boro team thay were going around with iPhones taking photos and everything, u would swear someone was murdered. But I know thay won't be promoted because there not good enough.
Sorry now rocky, I am manager of athlunkard villa and its as simple as this if you cannot field a team on a sunday morning you should not be in the league. A team has to abide by the rules, we had philip clancy on the sideline serving a one match ban but we did not play him. I have 16 lads training twice a week and there every sunday , wheter we finish firth or last is not the point at least we'll finish there playing a legitimate athlunkard side. Ye had 5 illegal players sunday, thats that, and there is a bit of pots and kettles here as the boro objected against athlunkard to gain promotion in the not so distant past, as for us not getting promoted this is very probable playing as we are right now, but at least I know we will have a full team every week at least trying, and it was only 2 months ago we beat boro 6-1 so I think the boro proved that anyone can improve;-)
boro b had illegal players simple as that, and i was talking to one lad who played and he said they had more than 3? didnt see the game but villa have had players suspended this year and the players didnt play. the games they missed they drew and lost so what they should have done is play there suspended player and maybe they might of won those games .... any team in town would object if a player is illegal so why are people coming on here saying a team is sad/ sour grapes if they object. Get a grip of yourselfs. the idiots posting rubish on here are just trying to cause trouble...... and they dont even play ball just sit and watch with pot bellies.
the promo race will be interesting this year in 1 b. for me moyross will go up along with dromore. bruff/borob/villa/murroe and prospect all have a very good chance of getting promoted as well.
