there were fixtures all through the bad weather last year, one example of it was, the croom management told us the match was not going to go ahead in croom as the pitch was like a stone but the Prospect A team management had to travel out to croom while there was snow on the road because the ref could have said different as its the refs call, even though we knew it wouldnt go ahead. hope the ldmc learn from it and dont put on fixtures during the bad weather this year as someone witll eventually get injured in a crash.
I can actually understand Pa Burnes not taking the job for that reason alone, some of the roads were frightening last season and teams still had to travel to be told the match was off. as I said the ldmc and a bit of common sense should prevail this season
