Dont be so sure there, lot of good sides that also have some former premier players and if the rumors are right there could be a surprise or two in this division, time will tell

Great facilities out in Newport in fairness, lovely pitches as well. Always seem to be stuck going from 2A to 2B though and vice-versa!

Seen them play a few times last year, a good side to be honest, if it did happen they would have no problem holding their own but couldn't see them pushing for promotion...............

Drew 1-1 with Nenagh Town A last Thursday great game to watch, Pike struggled to beat Nenagh in the FAI last year so we are progressing rapidly, Soon enough with our excellent facilities and underage stucture we will be the Pike and Fairview of Limerick soccer in 3 or 4 years. Anyone know what teams we will be defeating this year in 2A?

as far as i know knocklong will not be in it as they cant field a team..

For that last comment I hope you dont win anything or get promoted. Il remeber this comment just to laugh at you if ye are still in 2A next year.There is nothing I hate more than big heads before ye even kicked a ball.
As for Meskall and Lenihan signing, Meskall is good but doesnt he put GAA first before soccer and Dean Lenihan is mediocre player, very hot and cold.

Played Caherconlish last week in a friendly and were beating a 1A team 1.0
before it was blown up, if they do go into this league i would make them one of the favourites
