I can see where he's coming from. But I don't like this pious idea that it is "good for the game" if the big teams win. In fact, one could argue that not so good tournaments are better for the overall game - think of reforms post - WC 1990.
Maybe for a paranoid secret lemonade drinker and big time charlie potato like himself, the dismantling of the world order in both club and country European competitions this year is too much to take.
