How would it not matter if we don't win? caherconlish aren't playing Saturday so regardless of the result of the Hibs match it will go down to the last day of the season.
I think Davy is a big loss for Hibs but I think we have enough good players to come in and do a job.....and Fairview will definately come out with a better team than when we played them at their place, to be fair I don't think they could have played much worse that day.
Predictions:
Sat 28/04/12
Ballynanty Rvs 2-3 Shannon Town
Mungret Reg 1-1 Granville Rgs
Charleville 2-0 Caherdavin
Tue 01/05/12
Pike Rvs B 2-4 Geraldines
Looks like Shannon hibs are up won handy tonight fairview were pretty poor..think charleville won too so hibs should beat them handy next week to go up..
Not up yet. They have to beat charleville to be certain and that will be tough as they also need to win to survive. Hibs did not win handy even though the scoreline suggests they did thought view were the better team in the first half. But they gave away 2 very soft goals start of second half and the sending off killed any come back.
If charleville won tonight they are safe.. I heard they won but not confirmed..I think hibs deserve to go up but lets hope charleville do the right thing and give it there all next weekend..make hibs earn it..
Think you're wrong there old git.. If town won tonight they will only be 2pts behind hibs so regardless how match goes next week hibs can't afford to lose it.. As both town and caherconlish could pass them out

Charleville drew 1-1 with Caherdavin
"It's not about winning, it's taking people apart that counts"
What game were you watching???... Hibs could have had a hat full of goals, even though fairview did well in patches they didn't really make many chances, Hibs with a handy enough win in my eyes but maybe im a lil bias...say the match was well over before the sending off too

Mungret 1-1 Granville
We're safe. Now I can relax!![]()
The legend that is, Jason Benn with our goal.
Well done to everyone involved with us all season, the managers, coaches, players and our loyal fans!
It's been emotional.
The Beautiful Game
To be honest no, not really. Being relegated would have been terrible.
Considering our pre-season, yes, I had great hope of us challenging at the other end of the table. Things didn't work out that way for several reasons we can now begin to focus on. But our turn around in the last three months has been exceptional. We've beaten Balla B 3-0, Pike B 5-0, drawn with Hibs, beaten Caherdavin and got a hard fought point (despite popular opinion) away to Mungret. If you took the last 6 games, we were, along with the Dines, the form team in 1A. So I think we've learned a hell of a lot as a squad from comparing the first and second halves of the season. I still believe, with a few additions this Summer, we can challenge next term. All I know is I am proud of every one of our lads. They have given it everything in the run in and we eventually got our reward. 1A football next season.
