B teams tend to fade in the second half of the season. Don't think Pike will fade that much though and be just outside the top two. Shannontown, Mungret and Granville will get stronger. For me - Geraldines to win it, Hibs second followed closely by the likes of Shannontown, Pike B and Mungret.

Whoever goes up, we will need to strengthen big time.

It looks like Geraldines and Hibs will get promoted at this stage with the Dines winning it
There is still a lot of football to be played though,Pike B and Balla B will push them all the way
I thought Granville would be a lot higher up the table but there having a very poor season for one reason or another
There are some very poor teams in 1a this year,ie,Charleville Croom
the best thing for them is relegation, maybe they will pick up a few wins in 1b next season

I think it will be a battle to the last with dines and hibs.. With pike or Shannon town third ...pike have the experience and might just pip Shannon town for third .. Shannon towns new management were unlucky with injuries at Start of league and that might cost them..

interesting league now with dines reeled back into the main bunch so plenty to play for yet,as for a fellow poster depicting shannon town as ..cat ..he is indeed entitled to his highly respected and considered opinion.....pike b 0 shannon town 1,oops.think that cat had kittens earlier this season.

boywonder you have some neck coming on here saying shannon teams think they are invincible after a few results check all previous pages and i dont think there is one post from any shannon teams praising or predicting how well they are going to do, but instead loads of posts from yourself and your wet dreams about your obsession with pike b. long way to go in season yet and a lot of good teams still capable of winning league.

Lads at the end of the day the best team is the 1 that wins the league. For what its worth i think the Dines man for man are the best and from what im hearing they have 2/3 serious players coming that will send shockwaves through this league.Don't think u can say X and Y is the best player in the league as how do u compare a striker to a defender.Best defender for me would be Shane Madden, Best Midfielder i would not be sure about maybe the lad with Croom in the middle.Forget his name but he is an excellent player.Best Striker between Ian Dore and Jef mac.The next few games are vital for the teams at the top and indeed the bottom.Best to luck to all teams and hopefully it goes all the way.

Yes everyone is entitled to an opinion, but saying Shannon teams coming on here thinking there invincible is not an opinion its an accusation especially as old git said coming from the man whos wet dreaming about pike B, its a tight league and no-one is a cert for promotion lets just hope the league continues to be as interesting as it is now for the rest of the season.

Ian Dore tore ankle ligaments a few weeks ago and hasn't played any of Geraldine's last 4-5 games. He's on the road to recovery now which is a good thing because they've seriously missed him(even if I am biased)

Still going to be plenty twists and turns in this division yet and nobody is gaurnteed to win the league or go up. Only a few short weeks ago Grearldines seemed invincible and now look at how many points they've dropped recenley...Shannon Town are the opposite they've got off to a poor start and now are picking up some great results and are quitley sneaking up the table...I expect Granville to really start picking up after the Christmas too.

Personally I think Hibs will go on to win the league myself but like i said anything could happen, one thing is for sure...that it will be an exiting season.
